Last updated: 6 May 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to the DriftLab Studio website and to our services unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. By using this website or instructing us to provide services, you agree to these terms.
2. Our Services
DriftLab Studio provides digital services including website design, web development, branding, SEO, web applications, hosting support, consultancy, maintenance, and related services.
3. Quotes And Proposals
Quotes and proposals are based on the information available at the time they are prepared. Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 30 days. Any extra work, changes in scope, or additional requirements may be quoted separately.
4. Project Scope
The agreed scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees will usually be set out in a proposal, statement of work, email, or invoice. Work outside the agreed scope may affect cost and delivery dates.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, content, access, feedback, approvals, and materials needed for us to deliver the work. Delays in providing these may affect timelines.
6. Content And Materials
You are responsible for ensuring that any content, images, logos, trademarks, data, or materials you provide are accurate and that you have the rights to use them. We are not responsible for legal issues caused by client-supplied materials.
7. Payments
Payment terms will be stated in the relevant proposal or invoice. Deposits, staged payments, or upfront payments may be required. Late payment may delay delivery, launch, hosting, support, or transfer of project files.
8. Revisions And Approvals
Reasonable revisions may be included where stated in the project scope. Once work is approved, later changes may be treated as additional work. Final approval confirms that you are satisfied for the work to proceed, launch, or be delivered.
9. Intellectual Property
Once all agreed fees are paid, you will own the final bespoke deliverables created specifically for you, unless agreed otherwise. We may retain ownership of pre-existing tools, frameworks, processes, templates, know-how, and reusable code used to deliver the work.
10. Third-Party Services
Projects may involve third-party services such as hosting providers, CMS platforms, plugins, analytics tools, payment processors, APIs, stock assets, or software licences. You are responsible for any third-party fees unless agreed otherwise.
11. Hosting, Maintenance And Support
Hosting, maintenance, updates, backups, monitoring, and support are only included where specifically agreed. We are not responsible for outages, data loss, security issues, or service changes caused by third-party providers or unauthorised access.
12. SEO And Performance
We may provide SEO and performance improvements, but we cannot guarantee search engine rankings, traffic volumes, leads, sales, or specific commercial outcomes. Search engines and third-party platforms may change their rules at any time.
13. Website Use
You must not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape content unlawfully, or use the website in a way that disrupts its operation.
14. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriftLab Studio will not be liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of our website or services.
15. Portfolio Use
Unless agreed otherwise, we may reference completed work in our portfolio, case studies, social media, proposals, and marketing materials. We will not publish confidential information without permission.
16. Termination
Either party may end a project or service arrangement in line with any agreed cancellation terms. Fees remain payable for work completed, committed costs, third-party fees, or agreed cancellation charges.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
